Stoke-on-Trent Rugby Club have announced that a former player has rejoined the set-up.
Tom Stone leaves Midlands Premier outfit Newport Salop to return to his home club after spending three years with Leeds Beckett University’s performance squad.
The 23-year-old helped Newport rise to third in the table before the RFU announced that the season would progress no further last month amid the outbreak of the coronavirus.
A spokesperson for the club said: “Great to have you back Tom.”
