Stoke City Community Trust to auction off undefeated Heaney’s signed glove for the NHS

The Stoke City Community Trust are auctioning off a signed Nathan ‘Hitman’ Heaney boxing glove online to raise money for the NHS after the 31-year-old donated it to them.

The undefeated middleweight, who so far has fought in ten professional bouts, stated: “I’ve donated a signed boxing glove to the Stoke City Community Trust to help raise money for the University Hospitals of North Midlands Charity.

“There has been a massive strain on the NHS, and the people within locally so any help is appreciated.”

The person who bids the most before 6.03pm on Friday (May 9) will not only receive the glove but also gain another personal gift from the Stoke boxer.

He continued: “For anyone who wins the bid, I’ll also sign a programme personally to you from the night I won the IBO title.”

Heaney is ranked inside the top 15 middleweights in the UK

Heaney has been ranked inside the top 15 middleweights in the UK and claimed the IBO Continental Super Middleweight title after comfortably beating Christian Schembri on points in their bout in March, taking his professional undefeated record to 10-0.

The avid Stoke City fan concluded: “I’ve had a lot of people ask me for signed gloves recently so here is your chance to win my first one as a 10-0 fighter.”

The Stoke City Community Trust thanked him for his generous donation.
